3 Mental Exercises Before You Start Your Business
Building a business requires many things, and you may not feel prepared to do so.
I know that you ask yourself a thousand times if it will work and sometimes fear attacks when you least expect it and, for various reasons, you are desperate.
You are afraid to fail, you do not feel prepared, you do not have the capital, you are invaded by negative thoughts and perhaps you are listening to your surroundings, those that tell you that you are crazy and that you are not going to achieve it.
My goal in this article is to teach you 3 mental exercises that you should do before undertaking your business, which will help you relax your mind and have a clearer idea of what you want.

For some, drinking coffee is a simple solution that helps us keep our minds awake during the day and this works for many.
For others, the forced feeding of the brain with signs of “awakening” is considered a poor and ineffective strategy for the brain to exercise and increase its potential, therefore, they resort to mental exercises to train their brain to work faster and efficient.
The truth is that mental exercises tend to form and strengthen neural pathways and improve energy and focus.
That’s why I give you 3 fundamental exercises so that your mind stays alert and that will give you better results than simply taking several cups of coffee during the day.
1. Visualize your goals
Even if you do not believe it, when you visualize something, you are creating that reality in your mind, although you still do not see it.
There are thousands of studies that affirm that we create our own reality through thought.
So the first thing you should do is start to discard all the “junk thoughts” from your mind. These junk thoughts are those that tell you that you can not do it, you can not do it, you do not have this or that, in short, it’s those thoughts that They focus on what you DO NOT HAVE.
Start by neutralizing it, although, you will not do it in a day, it will not take you a lifetime to reeducate your brain.
When you educate your brain, you give it a new programming, it’s like emptying the recycle bin of your computer, as long as you do not empty it, it still occupies space on your hard drive, so you have eliminated the files by telling them that they are garbage.
This first exercise starts with one goal in mind. Think of only one objective first.
Go to your room, enjoy that time in solitude, without annoying noises that change your mood, put relaxing music if you want.
Visualize how you intend to achieve this goal through a step-by-step process.
Consider new possibilities. Could there be a better way to address a problem, maybe somehow I could reach the goal faster? If you have new ideas or new approaches, be sure to write them on a sheet or notebook. Then you go to the next goal.
Taking a few minutes alone, to visualize your goals on a daily basis, even if you are just reviewing what you already know, is an excellent practice because it constantly reminds you of the purpose behind everything you do.
Remember that to create, you have to visualize. This is the first step.
2. Go for a run
I know that this exercise will seem more physical than mental, but in reality it is a bit of both. Many scientific studies have shown how physical exercise helps the brain in multiple ways.
The exercise increases the heart rate, which brings more oxygen to the brain and gradually improves brain function, keeps you in a state of alertness.
And in addition to that, exercise releases a series of hormones that help the birth of new brain cells.
Therefore, running 20 to 30 minutes a day is an excellent way to keep your brain active during the day.
3. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones
This mental exercise forces you to reflect on your thoughts. The idea behind this exercise is to evaluate the set of negative thoughts and counteract them with positive ones. The result will not necessarily be an overly optimistic version of yourself, but a “realistic” version.
You can start by saying daily affirmations for 21 days. It is scientifically proven that the brain is able to turn an activity into a habit in 21 consecutive days.
I suggest you take pen and paper and make a list of all the negative and positive thoughts that come to your mind during the day, if the negative thoughts are more than the positive ones, you must urgently change them, because you are on the wrong track, when have you seen a billionaire saying he is useless?
